Individual therapy is a process where clients work one on one with a therapist. The process may involve the incorporation of different counseling techniques specifically designed for a client’s needs. Sometimes individual therapy is short-term and focuses on solutions. Other times, therapy is longer and more systemic problems are the focus of treatment. In either case, clinically proven techniques are utilized for the goal specific to each individual client.
